Biography

I attended Hopewell Valley Central High School and was a member of the class of 2007. I graduated with honors, in both academics and athletics. Throughout my years in high school, I maintained high grades while being involved in sports in and out of school. I was on high honor rolls when I graduated. I earned state recognition in soccer and county recognition in softball, earning the honor of being named captain my senior year. Being part of a team for so many years has taught me great leadership skills, commitment, and hard work. I also learned great time management skills, especially during away tournaments for my club soccer team. I learned how to balance friends, soccer, and my school work.

I was ecstatic to get accepted into The College of New Jersey. I was accepted into the School of Education, however changed my sophomore year to the School of Arts and Communication to become a communication studies major and concentration in the corporate and organizational track. I played varsity soccer for my first two years at the college before enduring a career ending injury. The team made it to the final four my freshman year and elite 8 my sophomore year. It was a great accomplishment and an even greater experience.

My work here at The College of New Jersey and through my athletic activities have taught me more than I could have ever imagined. I have definitely acquired a lot of important communication skills and will continue to gain more into my senior year.
